I was listening to KROQ in LA about 30 min ago and a dj said that VR is going to record every gig from this tour and sell official bootlegs. Matt said something like "it's our dave matthews clause." I missed how they were going to sell them, it sounded like they'd be available at the gigs.

Things with them just keep getting better by the minute. The album and tour are almost here, Slither is up to #4 on the Billboard Rock charts, and now perfect soundboards from every show. It is a good time to be a VR fan that's for sure.

That would be AWESOME.  I'd love to go to a show and get my hands on high quality live recordings of the band.  It would save me the trouble of searching for them on ebay.

Even if they don't, people will sell them on ebay, albeit at increased fees and you'd have to compete with other bidders to get them.

I think Pearl Jam did this on their last tour too... great idea, I'd love to have a copy of the concert I go to.

Now if we yell stupid shit loud enough in between songs, we might be able to hear it on disc.  ok

Cool, the two things I was wondering about, Letterman (cause I only get CBS from my rabbit ears) & bootlegs have been taken care of!

It's good to see somebody knows their show business in the VR camp.  peace

Maybe this is what they were talking about? It's taken from the clear channel website:

I am going to the Toronto show and WILL be buying that bootleg if it is available. Then I'll make it available to all of you for free. (those who didn't get to go to the show).

Anyone who has been to the shows so far: any bootlegs for sale yet?  I know it is early in the tour so they may not have produced enough to sell yet, but I thought I'd ask.

I don't think that they will sell any until contraband is out, and most likey will just sell them online or in stores

Hell NO.  If you bring one, you're risking it being confiscated, and they will not feasibly return it to you.
