Will we ever have a Making of Chinese Democracy boxset?

It's funny, I almost think this might be more interesting than the finished album. I mean, the process of creating this album has seen Axl working with an amazing number of musicians, all with their own signiature styles - it'd be great to see how it's evolved. Mind you, would Slash ever allow Axl to release, for instance, the sessions with him and Zakk Wylde? And would Axl ever want them to be released?

Hey, Chinese Democracy is going to come out at some point, that's inevitable. Might as well speculate on something that's not a certainty. I'm sure that, some point way down the line, there's going to be a "Complete History of Guns N' Roses" boxset, simply because there's so much material from the Chinese Democracy sessions floating around.

No death is inevitable, Chinese Democracy ain't.  It should come out but there is plenty to stop it such as more members leaving and/or Axl and Geffen totally falling out which could be seen to be on the cards around the Greatest Hits time

Yeah I think before anyone talks about any special accesories to Chinese Democracy we should ponder if Chinese Democracy itself will ever be released first.
