I know Axl only co-wrote PC but I think they should leave it alone......Axl has the voice for that song not Scott.....I would like to hear every song from Contraband(as there are only 12/13 songs right?).Mr.Brownstone,It's So Easy....And I wouldn't mind hearing Nightrain although they most likely won't play it.

Don't Damn Me
I would have a fit of giggles if Weiland sang this song. It's so Axl.
But then again, in light of his recent remarks about censorship, maybe he can relate to Axl's words.
Who wants to hear him sing My World?

well as much as i would love to hear don't cry that too is bit of an axl song and i am sure VR is only going to play the hard hitting afd songs like its so easy, mr. brownstone, and nightrain. and yes i can see them playing paradise city. all and all no matter what songs they play i will be excited to hear any one of them.
and for the person who said double talkin' jive. yes that is a great idea. and a dedication to specific someone form indiana would be awesome.

Nightrain
Dead Horse
Move to the City
Civil War
SO FINE.
I think Scott could do a...I suppose a decent job on the first 5, probably the best on Civil War. I'd kill to hear Duff sing So Fine live though.

Slash said in a radio interview they would play a bunch of Gnr songs and some STP songs, so they will probably play at least 3 songs from a Gnr or STP or both in every concert

Call me crazy, but I think they'll do "Bad Obsession," since it's one of few Gn'R songs that are in Scott's vocal range.
The people that go see VR before the album even comes out are the diehards, I don't think they're going to pick any of Guns' big hits because they're so identified with Axl. They'll do "It's So Easy," and maybe something like "Used To Love Her," but anything else I think will be pretty obscure. "Bad Obsession" is a pretty easy song to sing, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them do it.

You're fuckin crazy!
Bad Obessesion is very bluesy/country-ish. That type of music is not up Weiland's avenue at all. He has already said he didnt want to sing for 'Guns N' Roses', meaning their trademark classic sound.
They'll stick to the harder songs. I am sure the lead singer has a say in what songs he is going to cover.

Sun King 278,
I totally agree with you about November Rain. That would definatly be worth the admission price. Even thought they probably won't play that (and probably shouldn't because its a trademark GNR song and trademark Axl song), but I am glad you brought that up because I was thinking about VR doing that the other day.
I would also like to see them play All In the Suit That You Wear by STP, because I think it is a sweet song and I have never seen STP live because I wasn't really into them until after I found out about VR. I also wan to see them play Trippin On A Hole In A Paper Heart. Maybe even Down In A Hole by Alice In Chains. I have just really gotten in to that song. I think that would be sick!
Dude, I am going to see VR on June 4th, and then take the SAT the next morning, I am going to be soo frickin tired. I am going to do so bad on the test, but what the heck.

I hope its Rocket Queen or Out Ta Get Me (that would be awesome, and Scott knows about that too, hahaha)

I agree that they will prob stay away from the classics of both the former bands such as PC, SCOM, Interstate Love Song, and the like. However, I think Scott can sing a lot more ranges than some realize. Check out "I Got You" from #4...straight country-western/blues. He also sang a Woody Guthrie cover on the Purple tour. One other little known fact, Scott can yodle. Not that I expect him to pull that out anytime soon.
Definitely different voice from Axl, but he is a chamelion in his own right.

That was no joke. I'd much rather hear those songs than 2 of the worst songs on AFD.
