Why wern't any of the tracks from "Like Like A Suicide" recorded for "Appetite For Destruction"? All of those tracks would've fitted perfectly on AFD.

I think (not sure) that they recorded that on LP first and it was more a bit of a demo, after that they got signed with Geffen permanently and they recorded a complete album, AFD, later they were working on another "big" record and in between to keep people happy they put out Lies and used those songs too cause well...they're good songs Grin

Well correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that "Reckless Life", "Nice Boys", and "Move To The City" were GN'R originals. I know "Mama Kin" was originally done by Aerosmith but I thought the others were originals.

"Nice Boys" was a cover song, originally recorded by a band called Rose Tattoo, or New Tattoo, or something.

Only two of the four, "Reckless Life" and "Move to the City", were GNR originals.  And they probably didn't want to include those two on AFD since they had other songs they'd written that fit the album better.

Reckless Life and Mama Kin aren?t covers.

Reckless Life would fit perfectly on AFD.

Ok Dizzy was right that they didn't want covers on AFD.

Reckless Life is an original

Nice Boys is a cover from Rose Tattoo an australian hard rock band, being a Rose Tattoo fan myself i thought GN'R pulled Nice Boys off very well

Move To The City is an original

And Mama Kin is a cover from Aerosmith
