I liked the Duff of 1987-88. The Duff of '91 was still ok. The Duff of 1992-93 was pathetic. In VR, Duff is back and very cool. He looked me straight in the eye at the concert and I saw that he was ok again. I am very glad for him. He is back.

I met him back in 1993 when he was promoting/touring solo. He had a cue of at least 1000 people waiting in one of the biggest music stores in madrid to get their " believe in me" cd signed. He was driniking spanish beer and looked bloated. I said " what's up duff"? to which he replied " are you american" I said no, half spanish/half southafrican...anyway, I told him it was a pleasure to meet him and that I was looking to go to his show the following night. He "gave me five" and signed my cd. He was very approachable. Cool guy

Of course i like Duff. He's got such a winning personality, what's not to like about him? And i just love the way he sings "Attitude". I'm glad that he has become the picture of health that he is now, if he woulda died of an exploded pancreas, it would have been a very tragic loss to the world of rock n' roll. By the way: If Duff used to be called The King Of Beers, what would his nickname be today? The King Of Non-alcoholic Beers?  Or perhaps The King Of Cuban Cigars and Kickboxing?

I think he rocks!! And he cares about the fans, when he was talking about the two fans getting killed at the Monsters of Rock festival at Donington, he looked and sounded so upset as if he was gunna cry. But at the same time he looked confused, as if he couldn't believe that while he was on stage playing a bass guitar, people died.
......... On a lighter note!
I think that Matt Groening named the beer in the Simpsons after Duff because of how much he (Duff, not Matt Groening) drank. LOL! They should have made the Duffman dude look more like Duff, instead of a beefy blond cross between Superman and David Hasselhoff who speaks in 3rd person the whole time!

Duff is my favorite (ex)member of GnR, not saying ANYTHING AT ALL bad about any of the members (and ex-members)..but Duff just does it for me haha.

I love his voice, in all songs..Attitude,YCPYAAAM,So Fine, New Rose all of 'em..And Im hoping one day to get his solo stuff..(broke at the moment haha).

But he is an amazing bass player. Usually bass players dont get that much attention or spot-light, but Duff is a VERY well-known member of GnR, which shows right there he's got talent,knows it, and wants everybody else to know it too!
He's inspired me to start learning the guitar and eventually the bass guitar. Yeah I even have bracelets that have his name on it lol..(yeah its the "teeny-bopper" coming out of me..what can say  )

Duff is honestly (in my opinion now lol not saying its the gospel haha) the SEXIEST man on the planet.. He is gorgeous! His hair is so awesome, I love it! Long or short, doesnt really matter, his eyes are so pretty, I love the way they are shaped and just everything about him! And look at his body now! Its so tone and...well...hot lol. I have converted some of my friends into Duff-lovers lol..my friend came up with the saying "Duff is The Stuff" lol...

So basically like I said earlier..Duff owns me!

His fills in the songs are what make them sound interesting and fun to play(in a band).  Believe me , it's not that easy to figure them out.  You can play the songs without them but they don't right.  Not many bass players can get away with rushing the beat at the end of a verse in a song (SCOM).

Yeah, Duff is a really cool guy.  He's an under-rated bassist.  He seems to be the most open about talking about the old GN'R days, and he seems to be an all around nice guy.  I even have his solo album, Believe In Me...it's not bad.  He may no longer be the Sumo Wrestler of Beers, but he's still awesome.
