 There is no real GUNS N' ROSES without DUFF, SLASH and even IZZY. Although AXL is trying to make such. Not only AXL made this group popular. So even metaphoricaly, DUFF was, is and will be a GUNS member forever.
  Don't get me wrong. I like SLASH, DUFF and IZZY as well as AXL. But what I like most is GUNS N' ROSES with all of them. That is why I wrote IS.

errr... sorry but... you must have misunderstood or so. He started playing when he went to LA, because there were tons of guitarists there and even drummers weren't that rare. Bassists was what everyone was looking for so that's what he started to learn then. He was no good at it but he figured that didn't matter because he wanted to be in a real punkband just like Sid Vicious (his idol, rember?) and Sid couldn't play bass at all!!!!!
So he didn't have much experience at playing the bass but he did it for a while though!

 I absolutely agree with you. But the problem is that lots of GN'R fans think and say that GILBY is better guitarist and that he has to be concidered as a GUNS rythem player not IZZY. I think IZZY is or if you want was a superb rythem player. He is(was) also a magnificant song writer. Furthermore, he is(was) one of the establishers of the band.

I was actually meant to say he was playing around that time which he did!

And btw Sid was MUCH more suited as a frontman!

I abosulutley love Gilby and Izzy, both!!!!!
I can?t compare them.
I?m izzy?s fan because of his exelent  songwriting and guitar player and stage precence and becaouse of being there in UYI and AFD, but I just  can?t  not care about Gilby, his exelent image and stage precence and playing and when I think about this I feel I wan?t to explote becaouse I cann?t decide!!!!!!!!!!!!1
