i want to make this opportunity to comment on gnr's recent withdrawal
from the rock-in-lisbon festival. i was disappointed, as were the lot
of us, to come to grips that we won't be performing there as

with gnr and look forward to the release of the new album and

Now this is what I was referring to in my earlier posts!!  A bit more at ease now...The fact that someone who never really plays up his involvement in GNR has confirmed his both his commitment AND excitement over future activities...good stuff..Now whether or not this comes to pass will be seen, but someone whose communication has been cryptic and usually interpreted as negative (ie the photos) in the past posting something like this is good stuff.  Kockstar, I hope you were right earlier about the barriers being eliminated...I just hope this isn't an April Fools joke...

it's great that both Robin and Axl didn't just comment on lisbon, but actually talked about the future and the album (notice neither called it chinese democracy), and they spoke of some kind of excitement. i like that they're not afraid to mention these things. this means to me that they're much closer.

Back to back messages from band members, great.

I'm guessing they knew how all the GN'R boards would react to the news about Rio, and they're probably also aware that we bitch about communication a lot, so that's the perfect way to cool us down.

It sounds like dispite all the disappointment, this situation has really lit a fire under their asses.  Lets hope that fire's strong enough to bring us a new CD.
