Axl and Liza Minelli

Wouldn't you have liked to be a fly on the wall of that meeting?  I thought I read that Axl and Liza have socialized a couple of times, but I couldn't find any info about it.  Anybody know?  

I'm assuming they met at the Freddie Tribute Concert.  

It's also amusing that Axl is always being called a homophobe in the press, but he likes Queen, Elton John, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and Liza.

As for Liza, rumour was ( back then) that her and axl had spent the night together...

No.  Her father was gay, and so was David Gest her ex-husband.  But Liza, like her mother Judy Garland is an icon to a lot of gay people (such as Freddie Mercury), especially for her performance in Cabaret.  That's all I was saying.
