After reading Axl's letter, one thing stands out above everything else. The fact that he mentions that he would've been the first artist to play RIR 3 times...does that make anyone else feel that that was possibly the sole reason why GN'R were planning RIR in the first place???

My point being that IF GN'R had plans for a fall release of CD and that RIR wouldn't have been any kind of "kick off" (rather a "one off"), maybe RIR being out of the way is a good thing, meaning that it possibly was not part of the bigger plan (even post buckethead's quitting) and might have served as an obstacle.

Thoughts???

Whichever way you cut the cheese on this RIR #4 no-show, it sucks. yes crying

Pure and simple. nervous confused Angry

It sucks for Axl, the band and it really sucks for us, the fans. rant

This event was something that everyone, including Axl, were really looking forward to.

Some new material would have definitely been played and we would have had a few things to hold us over for a bit.

Now, that's not going to happen. no confused rant
