I would think its been threatened...
He had no problem counter suing Stephany and Erin
im sure he would loose no sleep over letting his lawyers deal with Mr Carroll while he auditions a replacement..

I don't care about the contract. If Buckethead's heart and energy isn't into the band, then let him leave. It should be about commitment, not about contracts.
And when Axl was taking time off, I don't mind the other guys doing side projects. They have to pay the bills.
But if you don't want to be a part of a legendary band, then let them leave. They need some chemistry if they want to become big again and make great music, and although a great and unique talent, he didn't create any chemistry with the band. He was his own entity.

The entire band is based upon contracts and legal obligations! Not saying they have nothing emotionally invested in what they have collectively managed to create, hell, maybe they've even grown to love one another in that time span, but unfortunately, the payment from Axl is the bottom line in this new incarnation...

We actually don't know that the breach of the contract is big enough for him to be obligated to do anything, do we? It might be that he has to do nothing... But I guess we'll see.

it too tough to tell what is going to happen right now with bucket's contract. I can speculate on what could happen but without actually knowing what the contract says we don't really know for sure. If the contract says that he is a member of guns and roses and is for a couple of years then Axl could sue buckethead for the remaining amount on his contract and potential earnings by the band with buckethead in the band (for example, the upcoming concert). Whether this will happen is another story.

Yueah if he was not into Guns N' Roses it's good that he did quit. But still it's a contract and he fucked things up. He could have wanted to they found a replacement for him. I wonder if they will redue all of his parts on CD beucase I don't think they want him to see any money from it. I know I would not after what he did to them.

I say Fuck Bucket. The New Band doesn't need him. They have Robin and Fortus. Bucket Never fitted in Gn'R Anyway.

Never fitted in? Besides being the most talented member in the band and overshadowing basically Finck and Fortus both at the same time, Bucket probably fit in more than any one else besides Dizzy. He just had the persona that people flocked to see.

I would think they would negotiate the use of Bucket's parts on CD, perhaps he would lose his royalties to the songs in exchange for release from this contract.
Or better, they kiss and make up.
