Guns will be moving forward and surprisingly (without giving away any details) this unfortunate set of circumstances may have given us the opportunity to take our recording that one extra step further. Regardless we hope to announce a release date within the next few months.

Sincerely,

W. Axl Rose

Question: This ain't bogus? Axl said that?

Question: This ain't bogus?

I'd bet it is.  People couldn't just let Axl make a one-paragraph statement now could they??

Question: Axl said that?

I highly doubt it.

Axl still hasn't given us insight on the tour cancellation.....do you really think he's going to share that long-winded statement with the fans??

Again, the letter is not fake.  It was released as a Press Release on the news wire by Sanctuary.  Now, did Axl really write it or was it "ghost written" for him?  Who knows...I rather doubt Axl would allow someone from Sanctuary to sign his name to something he didnt' write, though.

Sure, we'll be there.
We've booked the flight, hotel and have the RIR-tickets, so we might as well go and try to have a good time.

Sure we're very dissapointed, but maybe there's another good band instead of GN'R....

As the band leader, axl would be the one making a statement.

It does not mean he decided to cancell the tour. Maybe his management did, to piss him off. We don't know what happens behind the scenes.

We knew RIR4 would never feature GNR months ago, so why all this dissapointment?

OK thats it I am calling it a day with GN'R. I can't keep up with all this negative stuff. GN'R could have been the next Stones, but are just one big mess.

"Time went by and it became a joke".

Axl is a fucking crybaby cunt.

Hmmm...Legal business....I don't know the ins and outs of GNR, but i know that sometimes, you loose less money pushing people to an adge than having to pay people because you don't respect your part of a contract ? If they breech it themselves, you can then ask for money from them ( them being the band ? )

Just a thought...Haven't go a clue and i'm tired.. peace

Well... I give Axl credit for finally figuring out how to cancel a show in a correct and safe fashion.

Could it be that our little Indiana red head is growing up!?! rofl

As I've said in other threads... I pray to God Brian May is on his way to LA as we speak. He may be the only guy left in the world that can stabilize this ship. He knows what it's like dealing with self-proclaimed musical geniuses.

See, the real reason why Buckethead left is that the bootleg dvd he bought off of eBay was the Ritz 1988.  He realized how cool GnR used to be, and said "F-This! I can't compete with this!" rofl

So Buckethead is out of the band.  Why does this mean Rock in Rio had to be cancelled?  Robin Finck is a lead guitarist, can't he handle the load by himself.  Slash sure as hell could perform Appetitte songs by himself.  Once again, Axl is blaming other people.  He should have taken the stage regardless.  I just don't get it.   Seems like there is enough time to prepare.
