CASE HISTORY: Rose developed a loathing for authority as a child after his stepfather hit him for singing along to Barry Manilow?s ?Mandy.?  Despite achieving global rock hegemony with 1987's Appetite for Destruction, all was not well in this redneck intellectual?s jungle: He claimed Courtney Love tried to possess him at 1993's MTV awards, and he?s still working on the follow-up to GN?R?s album of punk covers, The Spaghetti Incident?, which was released 10 years ago.
CRAZIEST MOMENT: After marrying Erin Everly in 1990, Rose bought a house in the Hollywood Hills and had two topiary elephants delivered by helicopter.  The couple never moved into the property.
HE?S SO CRAZY: ?I?m trying to have a happy life here - why do I keep getting in my own way with it?  What?s going on here??

Gypsy comment:  I didn't know what a topiary elephant was so I looked it up.  It's just like a big chia pet that's planted outside.

Blender thinks that's the craziest thing Axl has ever done??  
Now if he tried to put two REAL ELEPHANTS in a helicopter, well maybe, just maybe, I would agree!

 :rant:First of Axl DOES NOT BELONG on this list! Second Courtney Love is one of the most vile human beings on the planet, no wonder Kurt Cobain committed suicide-being married to her probably drove him to it. She and Michael Jackson should be tied for #1. Did you see her literally jump George Foreman on SNL several years ago?And her antics this week alone should demand a rewrite of that article.  I wouldn't want that woman anywhere near me and I hope that somebody looks out for her daughter.

Every once in a while I hear a new Axl story, and I'd never heard the topiary elephant story ... priceless.  Nice picture, btw.
