Agreed, but it won't happen because it would make sense. Axl will rant, I wouldn't be suprised if the rant will be the longest of his ramblings thus far.

It does very much chap my hide that they could easily write two paragraphs, put it on the wire, and people would know what the hell is going on. I don't get why they don't do it. If I were in PR/management for GnR, I'd probably at least attempt damage control. Maybe they are fed up with it as well. It is possible that they are just waiting for what Axl will do to worry about what they have to do. I wonder if he and management even talk that much.

This situation is truly intriguing to me.

I have to disagree with the comments that a lot of ppl will be at RIR to say "I saw RIR", not "I saw GNR". I think a lot, if not most, are there to see GNR

I was actually planning on buying tickets w/ my girlfriend to see RIR4.  Something needs to happen with confirmation on this event before the month's over.  I mean WTF is going on, is Axl playing or not?!  So many questions and NO answers. SILENCE SUCKS!

I bet that there is a lot going on we don`t know about, thus the reason we are noh hearing anything official. Maybe Axl is in the process of trying to pursuade Buckethead to not call it quits permanently.

Then again, not hearing anything is normal from GNR so as usual, we fans are in the dark on everything yet again.
