Why does GNR need to replace BH ?
Isn't Finck a good guitar player to take lead guitar ?... if not, then why is he there ?

I like the three guitarist idea..its something new and dynamic

As for Finck - i have friends that play GNR solo's better than he does...why he is in the band is a good question.......

He's not good enough to be lead guitarist in GNR.

finck is definately good enough to be in the band hes really good i love the blues solo

if you don't like robin's playing, you might not end up liking chinese democracy. axl knew he couldn't replace slash with someone like slash. robin plays a very different kind of guitar, and that's the sound axl chose for this album. robin probably has more impact on the new album than anyone besides axl.

on topic, i don't think gnr needs 3 guitar players, but i did like the sound. it was full and impressive, and i thought paradise city was fun to watch. so i'd like to see them replace bucket, even though i think whoever it is will take a backseat (less of 2 leads, and more robin on lead and fortus and someone else also on stage). either way, i now can't imagine what we'll hear from axl (if we do) about all of this.

Well, Fortus was going to be the lead guitarist a few years ago, before Buckethead joined, but when BH did join, Axl forgot about the idea for a while, but then hired Fortus in the end, after Huge left...so I don't see why he won't be the guy to replace BH now.

Steven's drumming made the band; he made a big musical difference.  His sense of swing was the push and pull that gave those songs their feel, afterwards, nothing worked. ~ Izzy Stradlin

I enjoyed the full wall of sound...i don't think, at this point, that anyone else should be brought in...just release the stuff and see what flies from there.
