Buckethead does not need to be replaced.
Richard Fortus & Robin Finck are more than capable!

What about Ben Moody from Evanesence? I'm not a fan of his, but he's pretty good, and he's out a job right now. Plus he plays the piano like Axl...
WOOWWWWWW
that was hard!
let?s start another rumor!
EXTRA! EXTRA!
Ben Moody got a call from Axl Rose ( yes, he?s alive! ) asking if he wanted to joying the GRN freak show this year, the whole Evanescence was standing in front of Ben when he picked the phone, wanna know his words?!
Ben: "hello?"
.
.
.
(Ben start to shake)
.
.
Amy: "Ben, why are you crying?"
Ben on the phone: "ok... ok... ok.......................ok, bye."
Evanescence: "ben, what?s going on?!"
Ben: "screw you evaneshit... hahaha"
and now the band is reharshing fron the RIR Lisbon Gig
( in the gramys Ben did look like a fat axl?s brother hehe )

If Axl does get a replacement it should be a noname guy like Fortus was. Borland, Moody and whoever else you may have named from an Emo or NuMetal band already has a history. Axl's GNR needs to be about Axl. He needs to be the main attraction, not some "name" guitarist that draws 12 year old girls

If buckethead has left i'll be VERY disappointed. I'd love to see Brian Caroll as his replacement at Rio tho.

Do we even know if Buckethead is out for sure? I hate threads like these, if GN'R REALLY want to succeed they actually need to keep the same lineup together. I wish Mysteron could bring us something on Bucket or gnronline would actually give us some credible information. I'm sure thats everyones thoughts right now!

where did you hear that?
he was Marilyn Manson's guitarist on Mechanical Animals.
(he was rumoured to have turned down GnR in 2000

I've heard that Jerry Cantrell and Billy Duffy were working together... I like 'em both (Jerry is a guitar god!!!!!!!!!!! Degradation trip vol. 1 & 2 = masterpiece), so...what about one of 'em?
Three guitarists: Jerry Cantrell = lead (a little metal, technical)
Billy Duffy = other lead (more "rock n' roll" than Jerry maybe)
Richard Fortus = rythm (and some leads, he's fuckin' good!)
I like Robin Fink too, so...what about Guns n' roses with FOUR guitarists?

The only person who can fill BH shoes is Slash.
Slash, Steven, Izzy, Duff, Axl (and Mr. Diswald Reed on keyboards)
That line up constitutes the best band ever even though they are non existant.
