it?s all over:
(just to name a few )

Agora ? oficial: Buckethead saiu do Guns N'Roses (18/03/04)

Nova baixa no Guns?n?Roses

Por Daniel Setti

18.03.04

Pilferk - I just read your sig:
"Considering the current news...and our bet...unless there is a drastic change, for the next 30 days:
I am Crowebar's dog boy. "

Did you make a bet that CD would be out this year?  Grin

I remember reading a post where someone made a similar bet with his gf/wife and I think he is now washing dishes for this whole year  hihi

Well, here's hoping you dont have to be anyone's dog boy.

Crowebar and I, about a month ago, made a little bet about Bucketheads leaving GnR.  The bet was that, if there was official news by June that Buckethead had left GnR, I would add "I am Crowebar's dog boy".  If not, then he would add to his sig "I am Pilferk's dog boy".  I consider the MTV report to be relatively official.  Should it turn out to be wrong...I'll pull the sig.  It'll be there until April 16th, FYI. Smiley

pilferk-  I think you should remove the qualifiers.  It would be so much better if it were just "I am Crowebar's dog boy."   Grin

Axl must be fuming, i feel sorry for the guy, he must be under so much pressure at the moment, from the label, us the fans, all this greatest hits legal crap! and now members of his own band. Something has to give in the near future, so much is happening in the world of Guns n Roses its only a matter of time.

Its refreshing to hear someone express some empathy for what Axl might be going through

The 'he brought it on himself' arguement assumes too much that we dont know.  I'd just as soon go with my gut feelings... and belief in Axl's good intentions.

I just sent an email to GnR management. I asked about BH, RiR, a tour and CD and i got a short answer that keeps my hopes up:  Our plans have not changed.  ok

So don?t loose your hopes  beer

Shocked  You actually got an answer!
In the meantime of Jarmo posting thier email to you
can you post your email to them?

I do recall that article from MTV in 2001.  I've got a feeling we'll be seeing Bucket at RIR4.

Just for the record, I take no personal joy in Pilferk having to add this 'Dogboy' thing to his sig. no

I'm not sure that it's actually even necessary either until this whole BH shit is somehow confirmed by GNR management.

To quote the admin from the GNR Rumor message board:

Quote
Buckethead unofficially left Guns n'roses in early 2003, and have been rehearsing with another guitarist since

The new guitarist is likely to be unveiled at Rio

That is what I have be told so far. I'm not naming my source here, as I keep getting angry people emailing me

and...

Quote
Someone from the Alt.gnr newsgroup spoke to Dizzy last night in Conneticut, so this is reaped from there

Apparently Dizzy said that "they have a replacement for buckethead since he left a year ago but he has no clue what is going on with that"

I think this is relatively close to what I said, and this also fits in with what Dizzy said the other day

So it looks as though Buckethead as unofficially left, as Dizzy said the other day, but they have a replacement guitarist

Perhaps Buckethead has just been impartial and uninvolved with GNR all year. The guys assumed he may be as good as gone all along, and without formally replacing him, have another guy ready.  T'would be a smart move to have made.

(Kind of like the promoters of RIR are making sure there is a backup band in the GNR slot, just in case they don't show up...also smart Smiley)

If this is true, then it explain a lot of things, the main one being what is taking so long for CD. They had to re-record Buckets parts. I just find it hard to believe it took this long to someone to find out.

great a new guitar player......because every band obviously needs three guitar players.....

I can't wait to see what barrel they found this guy at the bottom of. Maybe this time he'll play while wearing a Hamburgler costume.......no wait maybe it's going to be Mayor McCheese.

Hang on a second!!! As foR these b/s 'management emails'......if he left in early 2003, can someone xplain why HE ONLY ADDED THE GNR BOARD TO HIS SITE IN 2004?Huh!!!

I don't believe this crap. Having had time to digest, it's safe to say there are/have been issues with Bucket. But having created huge amounts of music with GnR which he must surely be happy with and proud of, having gotten fantastic reactions from live audiences and seen how we've reacted to Madagascar and his solos, it would not make sense for Axl to let him go over a 'waiting' issue. I can only imagine Axl would do anything to keep this band together now, and that Bucket could be persuaded. Unless he knows that the album probably wnt be coming out this year or something.
