Getting something official from Guns N Roses is like getting the truth from a politician.

Do you not remember though last year when Buckethead's record label were spreading the same rumors. I think, to be fair, that MTV could have probably found a source and did this same story a year or so ago

I wonder if Buckethead's mind just changes from day to day

In all fairness, I don't remember that but I do remember rumors about Buckethead leaving though. I did not know they came from his record label -- that's interesting.

I don't know Buckethead at all but I reckon he can act a little weird from time to time (as everyone else, no?), and his departure could be one of these situations...?!

bucket has shows in april and june, plus a summer that looks to be quite loaded, performing with the campy and ridiculous Claypool, Laswell, and Bootsy. I don't think this was an easy decision for Bucket: how is he ever going to play at MSG in front of a sold out audience when he only jams with these silly charicatures. Right now, Bucket is no longer commericially viable; he is back to a cult figure which should no doubt please his die hard fans. as for reconciliation, i doubt it also. When your manager tells MTV it's over, it's over. Plus he supposedly told Axl he was out himself late last year. This isn't a spur of the moment decision because Laswell hinted at a split, the message board was taken down, and yesterday it was all made official.

regarding that BH news.
and all the answers the band members gave us and all, knowing shit.

maybe that new Guns n Roses, is really ONLY axl's work.
maybe he controls everything.
he writes guitars, drums, harmonica, trumpet , work onpro tools, DOES everything ?

i mean, BH leaving ? u dont leave your band like that, after all the work(??) he's done and all .. i can't see someone leaving like that if he is really interested in the band ...

cause, i dontknow, did BH just waisted 3 years of his life ? does he care about the band ?
if he doesnt, who does ? axl .....

the only solution i see is that axl controls, makes, creates everything.
all the music comes from him.
this is not a band.
this is just some crazy "genius" dream ....

i no know ..... Huh

There session musicians they have no loyalty or love for the band..its just their job

Also apparently Buckethead left because nothing was happening.....

Its been Axl's thing for a number of years now, i was gonna say Dizzys as well....but thats just silly.

I respect Dizzy for his loyalty and hope one day in the next 100 years that loyalty will be rewarded.

Guns n Roses used to be band - Guns n Roses is now Axl Rose and bunch of hired hands on contracts.

Buckethead leaving is one of the final nails in the coffin(go on Axl, proove me wrong) and it could all be over in th next few weeks.

that is true, but the fans loved his act. it's a big loss. Axl should seriously step up and correct this. alot of the new gnr fans were there because of buckethead; his loss means the further loss of more of axl's fanbase.

Didn't he say at a Grammy's aftershow party a few weeks ago that he was still with Guns n'roses? I may be wrong on that

Maybe he left Guns n'roses before Xmas, but since then has rejoined and left again  hihi

I don't think Axl cares about his fan base, if he does he sure has an interesting way of showing it.

BH leaving, and stating that AXL has to handle everything from music to legal issues ....
it kinda escuse him, i mean, i understand that making a cd that big, is hard for a lone man.

axl said that he has to do everything from manager to singer to body guard to cook , maid to sniper ...everything ....

i think that escuses him. maybe he has to clean the studio too ....
if he is really handling and supporting that chinese democracy poroject on his own, i understand why it's taking so long ....

axl, take your time, and close the studio when u leave ....

You know what is most upsetting about this situation, is that we are going to hear nothing from management or Axl. I know management must be looking into this, and they'll find out what's going on, and we will all sit hear disscussing this for the next 30 pages with no hop of knowing what is going on.

We have no idea about anything, CD, the tour, the GH lawsuit, the state of the band...nothing, now I agreed with the there will be news when there is something to report sentament, but now there is something to report, so someone needs to break the silence on this one.

edit: I guess I should remove the line from the bottom of my posts now. I guess if Buckethead could talk he would say "See ya"

Ok some bands post on their site when they take a dump, we don't even get offical news about a concert, a cancelled concert, or a memeber leaveing? Yea it is none of our business, but if this keeps up, they will have none of my business when (if) CD comes out

P.S. I know you where being sarcastic, I was just venting so more, not towards you! Grin

Management cannot really announce his departure until he terminates his contract. That's just the way life works. It's like sport, say football or soccer, a team will only announce a new arrival or departure when the contract has been signed or annulled

i think guns n' roses is the only band in the world who never communicates with the fans. but hell, that's part of being a guns n' roses fan i guess. Smiley it's not like they communicate with the media either.
