But if Slash, Izzy, Steven, and Duff can leave GnR without the band dissolving, it can sure as hell survive Buckethead leaving.

what ru talking about we havent seen a new record since they left, and there tour fell apart

gnr can do it they jsut need to have things go there way

I'm going to the Louisville show for Buckethead.  I'll track him down.  Tell me this is all a bad dream or just one big typo.  I didn't go through all eight pages but my god, BUCKETHEAD IS OUT.  What a dissapointing thread, I guess Axl loves negativity.  That's all that seems to go on when it comes to Guns N' Roses.

if gnr can survive losing slash they will survive losing buckethead

only thing is now will buckets parts be erased? that means more delays!

maybe bucket is just on hiatus till axl feels like releasing cd then will be back

if all themusic is done he might just leave till axl finishes the vocals then rejoin when axl decides to get his shit together

I argee with you 100% D on this. If Buckethead is gone for I hope they don't have to erase all of his parts and even more delays.  Undecided

I hope that is the case he will just rejoin Guns N' Roses when Axl decides to put the CD out for good and go on tour after it.  nervous

But if he is gone for good. I see Brain going next because they are such good friends from what I been reading about them.

I just hope Stinson, Fortus and Chris will stay with Axl and Dizzy.

Maybe Axl would get Steven to replace Brain. And for Buckethead maybe he will get paul, Izzy or Gilby.

I could see Axl working with Gilby because they did do a two songs together on  June 22nd, 2000, West Hollywood, California, United States at the Cat Club.

I could see that happen before Izzy coming back.

I know this is a very long shot from ever happen but if don't work out for the best with Velvet Revolver for Slash, Dave, Matt, Duff and Scott. Just maybe Axl, Slash, Duff, Matt and Dizzy will get back together.  Wink

Dam this real sucks.  Cry   nervous   confused

Just to let you guys know...I just attempted posting a message to the administrator on Bucket's site on two occassions....His name is Rupert Pupkin(at least that's his moniker).  The interesting thing is, when you post on BH's site, they will not post your comment unless it is approved by moderators....Usually, the comment gets posted in a matter of seconds, however, in this instance, my comment was not posted in both cases....It doesn't take many cells to deduce what's going on..I doubt I'm the first to alert the site of this development...
Undetered, I sent the following E-mail to Greg, the site's Webmaster...His E-mail, oddly enough, is greg@bucketheadland.com:

 Greg,
Could you please shed some light on the post which appeared on MTV.com today, which stated that Buckethead has indeed left GNR?  I realize that the GNR board on the site has been taken down for some time now (perhaps its time to take a hint?), but I'm certain you understand, as there are quite a few anxious BucketBots over at the GNR boards..I would be greatly obliged for any info you are able/willing to provide...Many thanks
Cheers
Joe

We'll see if I get a response.

This sucks

I agree with those of you that said the only way for GNR to survive is a reunion.

And it's very odd that we go all this time without any news then we hear all this crap happening......BH out, Steven's tour canceled, VR pushed back again...

Maybe all this happens for a reason......I'd like to think fate played a part in it and all the old members will realize along with Axl that they need each other............

But no one really knows what will happen.  I just hope for the best peace

I'm a bit pissed that management has "no comment" god, Why can't they ever give any information? The way sanctuary is run, I am surprised its still in business.

Grog, the webmaster there, although he is very informative, does have a bit of a reputation for feeling a sense of sadistic satisfaction when it comes to fucking with the posters, ESPECIALLY GNR fans...

I?m so sad BH left... now I really don?t see a future for GNR anymore... think I?ll leave too...

But if the band ever continues to exist... get Steven or Josh Freese on drums, Fortus to co-lead guitars with Finck, as BH replacement and ANYONE else as a rythim guitar player.

It?s so sad...

bye.

I can't see how this is anything other than the end of GNR.  Some people say, well Axl will just re-record Buckets stuff and then release it.  How is he going to do that?  Do you really think that the record company is going to give Axl any more money to play with?  By all accounts they're already pissed to the brim with him.  I'm imagine by this point...the record company has told Axl "Give us the fucking album or give us 13.5 million plus interest....your choice"....

I'd be thrilled if Axl just released the album and gave Bucket the credit he deserves for it and for spending 4 years with the band...he's a pretty patient mofo if you ask me.  Then (as a pipe dream) Axl could coax Zakk Wylde into joining....but good luck with that.

Ahh well....here's to velvet revolver I guess....

I wish all the nuGNR fans were as honest as you.

So if GNR was Axl, a tiger, a lion, and a dancing bear, that'd be ok right?  Cuz Axl is GNR.

GnR had survived with out Slash,

if gnr can survive losing slash they will survive losing buckethead

I must ask you guys, since when did GNR survive the loss of Slash?

The past four years indicate how slim this band's survival capabilities really are.

Ex-actly.

What has GNR done in the last few years to show they are still relevant to anything?

The release of *one* studio effort (Oh My God)?  Bombed.

The U.S. tour?  Aborted.

The VMA performance?  Ridiculed.

Does anyone here still believe this album is coming anytime soon?

GOOd leave than.  DOn't you think Axl cares.  Shit he sued Geffen for the Greatest hits.  Doesn't that MEAN something
Obvisouly he cares for the GNR name.  For Christ Sakes he hitchhiked from Indiana to LA to make it big and he did.  This is just a small hurdle compared to what hes been through the past. smoking

Oh stop complaining !!  Angry

Some of you can be such hypocrits !!!

In 4 years, how many said they didn't like buckethead, that they wanted slash back, that the guy looked like a freak, that he wasn't good for gnr's image and bla bla ?

And now, all of a sudden, you cry your hearts out and go " this is the end for GNR" ?

Uh...

Has it occured to you that the people who were against Bucket's prescence in GNR aren't the same people who are crying over his departure?
