What kind of Axl will surface?!

Now before people jump on the "This thread sucks" wagon.. I have been thinking about this and wanted to know what others had to say.. Ive heard 500 rumors this past week and just want to think about what could be so to speak...

So what version of Axl will be out RIR if GnR plays there? I think that Axl took most of 03 to reflect on 02 and to get back in shape so to speak. I think we will see a Axl much like RIR3. No brades and no football jerseys... Normal clothes. Maybe a slimmer Axl? Not saying the guy gained a lot fo weight but he had to have worked out to get in better shape for his trademark running around way of perfroming... Maybe worked on his voice? This "new" voice works on some of the old stuff but not all.. Will he finally give the fans information on anything? Sure there are rumors of 75 songs done and 3 albums worht of stuff done. I mean the 3 new songs we got two years ago are classic already in there own way..

Axl will not have braids and will be in pretty good shape like the Vegas look.


The only difference will be that he will light his crack pipe up right in front of everybody, as opposed to running backstage to smoke crack, everytime there's a guitar solo happening.

There are no "badass" rock stars who are in their forties and are 20 yr. veterans in the industry.  That only comes around for a rock star ONE TIME.

Its not 1986 all over again.  Get over it, people.  Axl is a has-been...he's a mere shell of his former glory.  MTV reports stuff about him...but thats because he's a novelty...a musical eccentric.  He'd barely even make a ripple in today's music scene.

How old is he again?  43?  I don't know ANYONE who is cool at age 43.

Im having doubts as to wether or not he will ever properly surface again. I hope for his sake, and the band, he does.

I could see him popping out at RIR lookin pretty much the same minus the brades, but still i doubt any new info will be spilled. I hope he leaves his attitude back stage this time. Last Rock in Rio with the new band he looked like he was going to kill some dude at the side of the stage during "The Blues". I think it was problems with his ear peice of something. I dont know about the rest of the show though, i only saw The Blues being performed.

Yes, I think so too.  If he was sighted and recognized, it means he probably still has the braids, etc.

Axl's look used to be big deal for me back when GNR had a coherent, tight look.  These days, I dont care.

I hope he resurfaces in Vegas this weekend, I will be at the Bellagio for 3 nights.

Hopefully he will be poolside sipping champagne!!!
