watching much more music power hour, and they were counting down the top 10 essential albums, and our gunners walked away with the top spot with appetite for destruction

they just said stuff like the highlight of 80's rock music and stuff like that,
i believe acdc's back in black was #2, def leppard was #3, and metallica's black album was #4, thats all that i've seen.

The UYI albums came out in 1991, I believe so they weren't really 80's.  Wink

Anyway seeing that list of bands reminds me why I was going to shows every single weekend back then!  drool  I was definately most excited about seeing GNR though!  ok

I thought Metallica's Black album was release in 1991? It's great to see Guns N' Roses in the number one spot.  ok

I watched that too.  What i find amazing is they beat out Led Zeppelin 4!!!!! it was like 8 i think.  And they beat out Number of the Beast which actually 5 i think(no surprise there.)  But yeah, i was shocked to see GNR take number one over Zeppelin 4.

Aaaahhhh, yes, you're right!  Embarrassed  I'm working from sheer memory and that was 16 years ago.   Wink  I forgot that I did own Lies before UYI - I also didn't realize that it did that well...
