then repeat the whole thing 4 times if i remember not sure about the last little thing but its pretty easy to figure out.
theres basically 2 types of people in this world..........people that play this with their pinky and people that dont...........its up 2 u wateva u find easier.

ah yeah your right,      i didnt have the guitar with me at the time.......oh yeah and the pinky thing.........i wonder what's the percentage of the guitarists on this board that use their pinky for the intro. Personally i use only my 1st 3 fingers. Slash if i recall doesnt use his pinky. But then robin fink uses his pinky i guess its how u learn it

While we're on the topic, how do you guys pick it?  Because I've always alternate picked it, but watching the Rio 3 show, Finck was using two downstrokes at the beginning of each bar (presumably so the last four notes would be 'outside' picked rather than 'inside') and I can't say for sure, but on the UYI vids it looks like Slash goes DUUDUDUD, presumably for the same reason Finck does it.
I don't know if that made any sense to any of you, but if it did, what are you're thoughts?
