ok, just an idea like that. what about rating the new band and give your own point of vue? (good things, bad things)
I begin:

- Musical skills: 9/10
- sound: 9/10
- creativity: 9/10
- stage performance: 8/10

- charisma: 3/10
- looks/image: 2/10
- band members cohesion: 4/10
- feeling: 3/10 (thanks Fortus, without him I would put 2/10)

and with feeling' you mean performance? or the face the guitarists make when playing a solo? finck is the master of faces playin' a solo explain the feeling thing please, cuz the way i think it i mean that stage performance and feeling is the same..

cohesion...euhh...it's a french word I don't know how to say it in english. it's...how to say that... for exemple Axl/slash, jagger/richard, perry/tyler, page/plant had 10/10 on cohesion. this is the "electricity" between the band members do you know what I mean?
and about feeling, it's feeling! this word works in english too. for exemple buckethead has 0/10  for feeling, Slash has 10/10, this is the way you play,  the emotion.

I have downloaded tons of VIdeo bootlegs. MUSICALLY they are absolutely great. awesome! but the rest (charisma, feeling, looks, exept for FORTUS who is great)...well...
that's my point of vue. there are positive and negative things.
Hoppefully, the most important is the music...hoppefully...

You have no clue what you are talking about.

Its called an opinion - suprisingly some people might not have the same one as you.

Stage - 6/7 - Fortus and Axl are cool.But Buckethead doesnt move at all (ok mabye it is his style, but still). And theres no Slash style legging around from any of the players - seems as if they are a bit worried about stealing the stage Axl mabye.

Sound - 8/9 - Lets face it these guys are pretty damn tight, apart from the odd bugger up, which is expected.

Image - 4/5 - When you think of Gn'R you think rock n roll, living on the streets raw - so the new band and Buckethead/Finck damage that pretty badly, to me they look a bit out of place, especially when most of the people coming to the shows are wanting to see the old songs, mabye on a proper CD tour playing 2/3 new stuff it will fit more, but for now i feel Fortus/Stinson fit in but the rest (including Axl with his American football shirts) dont really.

and yes I have seen them live.

Lineker I really agree with you.
about Buckethead/fink "damage": well musically they are very precious I think. but for all the rest, they don't fit in that band at all, I do think they hurt this band reputation/image,I don't know how to explain it. it just doesn't work for them. Fink thinks he is always in NIN, but Guns n' Roses is NOT NIN, this is not the same audience, not  the same music, not the same style and attitude. GOTHIC STYLE DOESN'T WORK FOR GUNS N ROSES. this is a ROCK N ROLL band. Rock music. Buckethead well...
Axl isn't as great as he used to be. he used to be a HUGE Rockstar, a rock n' roll icon. now he has lost a lot of charisma. maybe it's because of his look  I don't know. comparing the Paris 1992 show and the MSG 2002 show... sometimes I wonder if this is the same guy on stage...he has lost a lot.
Fortus is amazing, really amazing. I'm really impressed by that guy. he is "Rock n' Roll"

god, so cuz finck is not in NIN anymore, he should be more like slash when he is in GNR? maybe finck was like that BEFORE NIN? though about that?
i love nin, i think therre are quite som GNR fans that do..... so there would be some of the same fans....

Im  just curious for all the people bitch about how BH does move around on stage, first off that is his gimmick, its funny only certain gnr fans have a problem with this, primus fans dont, and neither do BH fans, go figure.

2nd you do know that izzy NEVER moved around on stage and i never hear anyone bitch about how he didnt move around on stage.

3rd image. What is wrong with the bands imagine? I never heard any gnr fan cry when gnr was in their glam days, hell look at axl and the band in the wttj vid or at the ritz show.
I also think axl looks much better in those hockey jersys than that spandex.

Its really sad how people need to find a way to bash the new band on how they look.
All that matters is how they play and sound, and that is where they blow the other band away.

People need to get over how this band looks, its like  you are in 5th grade and imagine actually matters.

You dont think this band has cohesion? You should look at the last 4-6 months of the old band, they hated playing with each other.
I dont think some of you have even seen this band live, if you have you would know they interact pretty damn well.
And dont tell me you have seen the dvds since most of them just focus on axl and not the whole band.

Face it people the old band is fucking dead, get over it already.
They have been dead for a long long time.

If you hate the new band so much, dont listen and watch hte old dvds and vids and listen to the old albulms or go listen to VR

Only thing I disagree with is GN'R (AXL) not showing up and cancelling the US tour with still no word on what happened.  10/10 for everything else...
New GN'R rocks...12/29/01...Axl throws a fit backstage..and Finck throws his guitar through an amp
11/25/02...Axl has a great show with six of my friends along with my g/f to show how the greatest band out tears up the stage..
