How old is he? I'm sure time is a factor for him now and that he only estimates a decade or less of being in the spotlight as a touring entertainer. Why?

Axl's fysical challenge during his show is a much more demanding act than ... nick mason from pink floyd? got the point? 55 years and doing the live and let die scream?!! Grin
this decade= axl decade or no axl\gnr

How much more time do you think he has left.

If you can't see the stupidity in your 'argument' then i will be wasting my time explaining it to u.

There is more to performing live than running about....if u go to GNR shows to see Axl go for a jog than i really begin to wonder..... Tongue

Have you seen Mick Jagger on stage recently? He's pushing 60, or may even be past it, and he still puts on a hell of a show !!  Shocked

i see you point, but sometimes it's best to quit when you're on top. Mick Jagger is far from it and is more a shadow of his former self. If axl wants to leave rock with style... i'll bet by fucking tits that this is the last decade with gnr concerts...
if you can't put on a great performance..
don't be vince neil\ i'm sure axl can still be a unembarrasing highlight but not for more than 6\10 years

I think Axl's in the best shape of his life right now and the Toronto show when I heard him sing blew those Tokyo shows right into the stratosphere and proves my theory.

The dude was partying real hard back then and I think he's living a lot healthier now.

bruce springsteen is pushing 60 and plays for 3 hours at a time.  Tom Waits is also nearing 60 and does the same.

axl's 45 and still performs like a guy in his 20s... we're fine.

You know.. if you asked me before the 2006 shows.. even after the Hammerstein shows... I would have said Axl would only have 3-4 years left of touring. Maybe even 2. Axl sounded DEAD in 2002. Listen to WTTJ from any show in 01-02 and its terrible. Ok at best.

But honestly as the tour has gone on.. and more and more boots have come out.. and after seeing them at Inland Invasion... its ridiculous! Axl's voice is better than even in the 90's! It's not always as strong.. but its great!

I'd say he could go on a very long time.

Hehe, I thought... WTF when I read the topic, but saw it was from 2004.  Roll Eyes

Axl's voice has been amazing this year. Just listen to Rock Am Ring. His voice has NEVER been that good!
