As you can see, I dont disagree with the frontman thing, its the greatest musician deal that is ludicrous.

In YOUR OPINION its ludicrous

Why the fuck would ur opinion be worth more than mine?HuhHuh

Also if we want to make this really really nasty

Axl was given credit for 41% of AFD, the largest stake...........

Don't see why u have a problem with me saying i greatly admire Axl as a musician.......GNR was a group effort and i see all their roles as vital. I just admire Axl most.

huh... isnt point 1 and 2 just about the same thing? and the third for that sake, jeez, just say it! you want axl to play on time... yeah?  hihi

hey, atleast, when he blew of philly show axl was in the same country, he didnt decide to be in another country for some longer 'cuz he may like it..... *caugh-france-norway-caugh*

now, that is worse than that deal....

Finally! a reply with some humor!

Yeah, the Norway France thing was just fucked up.  Did he ever give an explanation for that either?

People attend GNR concerts knowing full well that he's gonna be late. I know it's not ideal, but nobody forces anyone to buy a ticket.

And this monetary squabbling of who put in most was a major reason things fucked up for them.........

I believe it was 41% of the catalog, not just AFD. I would say that Axl is about half of the whole (old) Gnr picture.....image and writing mixed together. He is and was the voice of the band and the most famous/notorious of the members. He was the Roses and the rest of the band was the Guns. To say Axl is one fifth of the group is silly.

Booker will get ya for that...... nervous

He is clearly the most important member......but it was Axl, Slash, Steven, Duff and Izzy that made GNR.

huh? you're assessing his musical contribution to the band based on the band's name?   Huh

He was/is the most famous member of the past/present GNR, but the music came from all of them.

Please read the post again....Axl is responsible for 41% of the music/writing as agreed upon by the band-testified to in court and apparently Slash came up with the system. If you couple that 41% with the fact that Axl image wise is the most recognizable of the members, he can easily be said to be half of the Gnr brand. Contributions from Gilby-Steven-Matt-even Duff are no where near as important as that of the singer and main lyric writer of the group. I was just using a play on words.... Roll Eyes

What was Izzy Stradlin's percentage contribution as agreed upon by the band? Does anyone know?  He was also a main lyric writer and musician for the group.

It seems like Mr. Rose took your play on words seriously and replaced all the old Guns with new ones.  But I guess he can do that seeing as he is 41%.

well here we have a nice little post..we have these nice numbers also, I guess the person who has more percent counted is the most important hit machine.. Huh the fact is no one really knows except the ex-members and Axl who made that riff and how did that melody got done.. and I don't really see any logic with this 'making Appetit' one when someone throws these percents to the game..does everyone know how many percent is the riff of Jungle..and what about the riff of SCOM..umm, it would be nice to know how many percents snatches the solo of PC...fuck that...Axl is very talented and was very important figure in making Appetite like others were..for fuck sake's, little bit credit for Izzy, Duff and Slash also..let's just leave these percents out of the game.

No, actually I didn't think it needed explanation since I figured most poeple with an IQ of 80 or higher can see how pathetic the post was. Apparently I was wrong. Saying that Axl did 41% of the writing is not taking all the credit form the other members. It leaves 59% of the credit to Izzy, Duff, and Slahs, that's more than "a little bit credit." Also, its funny how people want to "leave out" things that don't mesh well with their "argument."

Well, even if you include Steven, that's still more than a little bit of credit so it has no bearing on my argument. I didn't include him only because all reliable sources say he didn't write almost anything.

Oh yeah, and before someone corrects me again, I better mention that, according to himself, Tracii Guns wrote the entire AFD album and the other members are nothing. So don't ya'll jump on me for leaving that out.

Axl is great and Axl has changed his attitude in some ways but turning up the shows would be a thing that I dont think he has changed on. Well I dont know nothing!
