Best Record Ever Made, Plain and Simple!

« on: February 22, 2004, 06:38:21 PM »

I have an acoustive yamaha, and Epiphone Les Paul Standard and I am going to get a Marshall Jubilee Half Stack or 2x12 combo.  I really want the Slash head and both Slash Signature Model guitars. What is some gear that you guys want?

Later,

at the moment i have a mystery les paul replica from the 70's, complete with new pickups tuners bridge retouched neck its basically brand new. Pickups are dimazzio PAF classic in the neck and a gibson p94T in the bridge, my perfect damn setup, well for me anyway.

also have a half sized valencia classical guitar, but i use that when i play outside in my hammock with lazy versions of songs.

if only i had a good amp, i just have a little roland cube 15 practice amp.

What i would like to get is a good loud marshal amp, maybe one of the JCM series or something would be good. I would also like a jim dunlop wah 53Q (or wateva it is) pedal.

too bad money comes in real real slow for me.

If you don't mind the questions..
What kind of Tubescreamer?
What kind of Guv'nor, is it a new one (the small silver box) or an old one (the big black box)?
And what kind of Mockinbird is it?

It'll do until I'm rich and famous and have millions of fans and tons of records sold and umm.. Yeah.. I think I'll go with this setup for a while.

Cool.  Were they the stock pups or did you upgrade?  Cos I've always wondered what stock BC Rich stuff sounds like.

I don't have much, but it's enough for what I do.  I've only played guitar for a little over a year.

Austin Acoustic
Fender Strat (2003 "Splattercaster" model)
Bently Bass
Crate bass amp
Fender Princeton 65
Digitech RP50

My strap is a Jerry Garcia one in a bunch of swirled shades of blue.  Goes great with the Splatter.

I'm not sure what my band has for our drum setup.  I'm allegedly our drummer, but have only seen this phantom drumset once, and that wasn't the whole set.  All I know is that it's a Tama set, snare, 2 toms, floor tom, bass drum and pedal, 2 crashes, 2 rides, 1 splash, hi-hat, (all Zildjian-- we need about 4 more cymbal stands though), and a 12" Wuhan China (I only know this since it's sitting in the drawer next to me).

Anyone name their guitars?  B.B. King had Lucille, what about you?  I never named my bass or my acoustic.  The Splatter is simply called Blue (because of the colors).
