Since when is Booty Shakeing wrong? ok  ok

Why would anyone want to bring back the worst genre of music ever?

Hip-Hop = booty shakeing, bling bling and leaning on cars looking tough!

now what is the worst music genre?

I like the Darkness - hope they're able to progress in terms of music style i.e.
not sticking to the same format for every song.

They did that on the second album.  I have both and they're completely different.  Both great albums tho.  I like the Darkness a lot.  They get slated some but I think that's just haters being stupid.

I was always hearing on Kerrang that the Darkness are like Aerosmith and other great 70s bands, does this mean that Steve Tyler is a TWAT?

I don't like The Darkness. The singer's voice annoys me for one. Two to me the music I've heard is pretty much generic. Three they seem to be all image and copying the past. I like Beautiful Creatures and Buckcherry. Beautiful Creatures' singer is from the 80's band Bang Tango but they sound good and incorperate a lot of modern elements with a slightly heavier edge. Buckcherry I think could be a comparison to GNR if we HAVE to compare anyone to GNR. They sound modern yet they're stripped down hard rock but pretty much every song is distinctive and there's a lot of different style.

I like The Darkness, actually. Their guitar solos are good, and their lyrics are good in a different way.

I still prefer GNR over them, but there's no reason why ya can't like them both Cheesy

The Darkness Rock so do GnR, i have seen both bands live (GnR x1, The Darkness x2) and they both put on amazing shows.

and to all the haters, be thankful that The Darkness are keeping what ever is left of UK rock alive and be glad they are different, or be prepared to listen to EMO crap!

If The Darkness were so bad, then why were they performing at Rock In Rio aswell as GnR?
