Ladies and Gentlemen, once again I present you my standart post for Bullshit:

I have a friend that has a friend that has a source he can?t reveal who is, but it?s 100% reliable, and he told me that Danny, Johan, W 23 Axl, Raoxsle and blues_rock_axeman are getting together as a band and their debut album title will be "GNR Lies".   rofl

Anyone with under 50 posts that starts a rumor should be shot in the face.  At least wait till you have a few hundred then do this
NEW RUMOR:
I was at Krispy Kreme last night in Altoona, PA and Axl came in and played a few tracks off Chinese Democracy.  He played a song called My Fellow Americans which was a duet with Lee Greenwood Jr.  Axl then bought everyone a Krispy Kreme and rode off into the sunset on his neon Pony (which is also a song on Chinese Democracy, it's track 17)

so if axl came here and said he knew someone working on the album, and said it would be released <date> and it was his first post, you would bash him and tear him a third asshole?  hihi

If it really was Axl, he'd have the means to verify it.

actually I don't care how many posts you have when you start a rumor...They should be bashed in the face if they simply made it up. I hate it even worse when its someone with alot of posts who makes up rumors because then you actually kinda trust them.. a rumor is a rumor doesn't really matter how many posts that person has.

I know I'm a n00b and this may well appear unfounded, but I'll contact Jarmo asap and ask him his opinion.

for what?
... maybe you could show him the song, what do you think?

PS: Can't we add yet another section to the board called: "Behind the scenes"?
A special part of the board where 'insiders' can try to outclass each others in a tasteful ambiance of crystal spheres and tarot cards...  Competing each others in a fierce race for the prestigious ?Golden Parrot?; for outstanding achievements in recycling old news?

« Reply #33 on: February 08, 2004, 03:15:02 PM »

Well, I didn't quite expect such an arrogant and offensive response to this as I've received. Nice that is  Roll Eyes

Jarmo reckoned it was probably a fake. At least he had the common damn courtesy to give me a sensible and civilised reply.

So I'm guessing that this track that I have isn't actually a real track. Easy mistake to make. No need to claim that new people attempting to make a contribution to this place should be 'shot in the face', is there? No need for snobbery and outdated hierarchical attitudes. It's an internet forum! And seeing as all of us are Guns fans, loyal to a band that so many have given up hope on and turned into a joke, I think we should stick together, cos frankly, there don't seem to be many of us left.

And if the track ever surfaces, then hey, you guys are gonna look a bit stupid, are you not? It obviously wasn't recorded for no reason.

Have a nice day.

Leave the guy alone, he isnt like RAOXLSE .

I downloaded it from Kazaa about a year ago.It has some cool mucis and Sampples of one of Axls more passionate rants about his family, and how we have to "change our shit now".
Definately not official GNR but I can see how someone may think its  a track bewteen songs or a hidden track.

P.S the booker comment.......very funny:)....where is ISOA lately?

Is this not the song on Kazaa. Its Axl speaking about Rock n roll excess and how he does not need to be a macho man by taking cocaine.

"My fellow Americans " is the name of a movie with Jack Lemmon and James Garner. I doubt Axl has a song that he named the same thing.

« Reply #39 on: February 28, 2004, 07:01:08 PM »

so did you happen to hear any lyrics of this mystery song?

Ah Shit. All the cool insiders like me and and Blues Rock Axeman promised to Ax..er, i ment unanymous source close to the band that we wouldn't provide masses with info about the matter.'

It was supposed to be a suprise for all not-quite-as-cool-people-as-we-are -folks out there but since Blues Rock Axeman ruined it I suppose I could aswell post parts of the lyrics.
The song itself is about isolation,Survival Mechanisms of Axl and social pressure the modern world/America unleashes upon Mr. Rose.
SOme quite ironic self potrayal here and there, specially in chorus.
The song comes with few..massive sample parts but i think it has this great , a bit AFD-ish guitar vibe going on.I dig it, I really do.

Here we go, you didn't get these from me.

Hiding in my mansion
Oh yeah oo ooo oh yeah

Heard that gulf war is over ..
I wonder if we won?
think I'll record  some shit
with the oldest Hanson
He told me about this  world wide web
We tried to register life.com
..Oh wait, it was all  in my head.

(And I don't need no fellow americans)

Chorus:
trying to figure out.. what the fuck is this "CD-rom"
The M.O.D.E.R.N  world  has too many acronoms

Hiding in my mansion
Oh yeah oo ooo oh yeah

Loving Isolation
I hate people and communication
everyone out there is after me
I realize, at last I can see
Ameri-guns and ammu-nation
I'm ready for my final destination

(Chorus)

(And I don't need no fellow americans)

LOL!!! That rules!!! You should put it on record before someone steals it from ya!
