Guys, whats we've been waiting for, has arrived!!!

I have a close friend in CA who works at one of the biggest and best marekting companies in the country. He knows I am a GnR freak and he sent me an email stating that his company is handling a very "special and private" commercial that involves GnR. You will not hear ANY sound...the commercial is (so far) supposed to start in all black. Then, in white, will flash on the screen GUNS and then dissappear. Then, again the same thing for N'. Then the same thing for ROSES.

Then, more blackness on the screen, then the same flash thing , except this time for CHINESE, then DEMOCRACY.

Black Screen.....then again, flashes, this time the May date.

black screen again. then it all comes on together, at the same time to show:

GUNS N' ROSES
CHINESE DEMOCRACY
May ?? 2004

That stays on the screen for like 3 seconds, then the commercial is done!!!!!!!!!! thats it...no sound, no pictures....this is set to air on MTV starting around the end of Feb.

The NO SOUND part is part of the coolness of it..i like that...

all commercials are loud n shit.......this is will stand out like no other..and shock the music world! Axl's great idea i bet! They said the commercial is like 15 secs long...its meant to stir the music world, thats why no sound, no nothing. As my friend said, "Do you honestly think Axl doesn't know that the world is waiting?"

my friend couldn't give the dates cuz the GnR camp has yet to fill the company in on what the date will be, but May is the set-in-stone month, according to the people who did the commercial.

As for is it BS, well I don't know. The promotional side of gnr is kept top secret. The best I can do is ask MTV, where I do have some good links, but I'd imagine that they will not know anything about this either even if it were true
