i got the boot last night from gunnerdown under ok this performance had me runnin around the house, ive seen so many gnr boots that its hard to get overtly excited anymore, but holy shit this was fantastic, bearded axl goin off and his voice was fuckin amazing! it was kick ass the entire show

his rants were short but sweet, was this right after he and stephanie broke up? cause he seemed to have more emotion and energy than normal

i watched it right after the VR show and VR were ok but compared to this in my opinion was comparing a minor league ball club to a major league

steven tyler really gave axl a run for his money though and showed why he is the 2nd greatest frontman behind axl, even the lenny kravitz stuff wasnt bad

i loved the rant on warren beatty that fuckin parasite

anyone else seen this show? i think its one of the greatest shows ever

the end of sweet child o mine gave me goose bumps holy shit he went off! the ending of paradise city the way they all ran around!

Duff looked really bloated and bad at that show, its amazing how he has turned himself around!

I still haven't seen the video of this. Maybe I should contact gunnerdownunder. I'm sure it's very good quality because the show was PPV. I can remember listening live on radio, recording on cassette tape, editing commercials out so I could fit the whole show on two cassettes, drinking PBR, cursing at my cable provider for not carrying the PPV, which I would have paid any amount to see. I still have both audio cassettes; the swear words are edited out. It's a great performance. I'm sure it's one of the best from the 91-93 era. But I'm one of those that can't see past the original band. Ritz 88 is still the best I've seen. Less is more... I find myself saying those words more and more in my advancing age. Stay golden!

No. You're the only GN'R fan who saw it. The people in the audience were added later in a movie studio's editing facility.  hihi

I saw it live on tv back in 1992. Cheesy

I remember that they showed some Soundgarden while waiting for GN'R to go on stage.  yes

Hell yeah Pabst has many good memories for me.  I love that 92 bootleg, like I like RiR 3, Call me a deush but I like the PPV or TV recorded bootlegs because the quality is good it makes me feel like I was there.

Dave, I have the preshow and postshow from the radio broadcast (I'm guessing your talking about video). Mines on cassette though, and I don't know how to transfer. It also has parts of the Soundgarden set.

That was a great fucking show ok Better than the Tokyo ones...

I loved it when Axl started to dance on top of the piano. Double Talking Jive was amazing. KOHD was great as well. Great show.

I can't decide whether Axl's voice is great or not so crash hot on the Paris show.

Civil War and Double Talkin' Jive sounded cool, as did Mama Kin with Aerosmith!

What did Warren Beauty actually do to get Axl that pissed? Did he do anything with Stephanie Seymour?

Johnnyblood, I'll gladly B+P you a copy of the DVD when I come back from my vacation.

Grin That's one of my favorites.. the one in Dallas '91 is the best one though.

anyone else seen this show? i think its one of the greatest shows ever

Right after the UYI Tokyo tapes this is probably the most well known GNR concert ever, since it was broadcast all over the world. I saw it live on tv as well. Nice show but the setlist could've been more imaginative.. Pisses me off that they were going to play Locomotive (!!!) but then Jeff Beck got sick and they cancelled it. Well, they still could've played it without him if you ask me.

Duff looked really bloated and bad at that show, its amazing how he has turned himself around!

1992 was nothing, Duff in '93 is something to talk about hihi

That's a fuckin awesome show. Unfortunately I've only got half of it downloaded. Starting from SCOM to the end. How much am I missing?

I've also got an MTV report from after where slash and Matt talk about Paris and Jeff Beck is interviewed.

The Paris show was a very good show, but not as good as I think some people make it out to be.  Axl's voice is better than average but not great.  My version (and I'm not sure other versions) on DVD for whatever reason has Slash's guitar very low, so many of his solos are hardly audible.  Finally, some great songs, like Rocket Queen, Estranged, etc., are not played.  The best part is the Aerosmith collaboration.  Two legendary bands playing together is amazing.  I really liked this show, but my favorite show that I have is Saratoga Springs, NY, in 1991.  The setlist is great, Axl's voice is great, and there's a ton of emotion.  The quality of the video is not great, but it's an amazing show.

Thanks to a rigged Cable Black Box - I saw it at friend's house..... Toronto 2002 kicked the crap out of it though.. wish there was a video download for that show.
