God I hope not!!!

That would mean Velvet Revolver would be on a *gasp* break or even worse.......disbanded.

I'm looking forward to Scott rocking with Slash, Duff, Matt & Dave for many many years to come.

Edited to add:  My response is if you mean the "original" members of GN'R getting back together for one last tour.

GNR For Fucking Ever

k-rock you are an idiot.  You would rather see that crap of a band then GNR.  Contraband sucks ass can't you see that the only people that like it are rolling stone reviewers and thats because they probably got paid big bucks to say that.  Anyways anything at this moment from GNR would be awesome.

GNR for fucking ever.

No, Guns N' Roses will never do a world tour again, let alone the original Guns N' Roses.

If you're speaking of the original band, don't hold your breath. The combination of those guys in one room today would be tense to say the least. If you're talking about the new band, they'll tour the world. It won't be a "last tour"...

Thank you, may I have another?

You would rather see that awesome of a band then GNR.

Absolutely!!!

Contraband sucks ass can't you see that the only people that like it are rolling stone reviewers and lots of other people thats because they probably got paid big bucks to say that.

Nobody paid me, dammit.  Where do I go to get paid for loving the best album since AFD??

Anyways anything at this moment from GNR would be awesome.

Yeah, like the missing long ago completed coming soooon cd......

GNR for fucking ever....or quite possibly never again.

You will never see all five original GNR members tour together again, if that's to what you are referring.  You may see Steven's band open for VR, with perhaps a stage appearance here and there with Izzy, but none of them will appear anywhere with Axl ever again.

Like K Rock, due to VR, I'm starting not to care less if there is an originals reunion.  And due to Axl's antics, I couldn't give two fucks if his band ever tours the world, tours Mars, Jupiter, or wherever.

Velvet Revolver have made me look forward to anything they release in the future, because they are fucking awesome, so my rock n roll spirit is with them rather than some futile, dwindling hope that the entire original GNR will reunite someday.

Calm down buddy, K Rock is entitled to his opinion. If you don't like it, fine, but don't insult him (check out the board rules).

First of all the GNR will never do a world tour & if they play any gigs it would be one of festival gigs like leeds & Rock In Rio

I hope we get to see Izzy play some shows with VR - another Smashbox event or something similar.  I'd like to see Steven's band with them, but... would that really happen?  How do the opening bands get picked?  Dont they usually pick some up & coming young band?

Mars & Jupiter?  That'd be one helluva show.  hihi  I cant wait to hear about the Jupiter riots and the Mars ranting.  Mars is a big garbage can!

Of course I'd love to see the original lineup on tour, heck, even just a few shows.

I'm sure if VR wanted Steven's band to open for them, it could happen.  But the reality is that an up and comer would probably get the slot if there is only one available.  I would foresee Steven's band opening for them if there were more than one opening band, but if there's only one, it would go to an up and comer.  I just hope VR's management (or whoever) pick somebody better than Living Things next time around.

Whoa whoa whoa.... so asuming you really think that, conclusion draws that you also think Contraband is actually better than the Illusion twins? Well, it's really a matter of opinion, and it just may be yours against mine, but I can't pass up the opportunity to tell you you're nuts. Oh You're nuts.

Impressive deductive reasoning.  Are you available for parties?

There's probably at least 7 albums released since AFD that I like better than UYI I & II.

Well, it's really a matter of opinion.

Yep.

and it just may be yours against mine,

Maybe in your world.  I really don't care enough to put "what I like" against "what you like".

but I can't pass up the opportunity to tell you you're nuts. Oh You're nuts.

No doubt but probably more so because I kick in crack-house doors or even better yet, I take on over 6-foot tall, at least 200-pound gun-carrying drug dealers who are full-time state-serving weightlifters.  But no, I'm nuts cuz I prefer Contraband over UYI.............uh-huh!!!  hihi

I don't think Axl will ever tour again, with whoever it doesn't matter.  It would be very difficult for any promoter, venue to take a chance on him considering his unreliability.  His original fans are older, it's hard enough to get these people out to a concert, let alone wait for one.  And I don't think he's emotionally capable of it, nor do I believe he wants to perform, so what's the point?
