okay, so even though i swore that i wouldn't listen to the songs before i bought the album, VH1's website made it super dooper easy, and all i can say is holy shit. The songs they omitted from the concert (which i can't quite understand why they didn't play them) are fucking amazing, especially Loving The Alien. It get me instantly. Same with You Got No Right. They are way better than Fall To Pieces (but i guess it's Scott's personal anthem). Also, from what i have heard, the lyrics to the rest of then album are much better than Fall to Pieces (which he could have intentionally decided to keep very simple). (similar, by the way, to November Rain which is not lyrically, a very complicated or deep song)
From what i am listening to, this album is SO much better than i expected (and i expected a lot). Not very many songs get me with the first listen.
I can't wait to hear them sing the other songs live!

I totally agree.  I loved this song the first instant I heard it and it makes you want to sing along with it...

After hearing the album some times, I think Fall to pieces is better than Loving the alien.., but that's just my opinion!

But maybe it will grow on me after more listenings  ok

You?ll find your inspiration,
To choose your steps, I won't regret
