After listening to Crash Diet several times I've come to the conclusion that it would be cool (though I know it will NEVEr happen) if the new GNR wre to do a remake of it.
Because this isnt your typical GNR song,its much heavyer sounding,and the solo is less finesse and more just raw agression.(perfect for Buckethead)

The only problem I see is the main chords a little 80's ish.
But I think that could be overcome.

Just a thought.

I think the song has a lot of potential.  But you can tell they never really completed it.  It' more like a blueprint than a finished product.  

... Axl probably has some brilliant version hidden in his closet, which will be released on the "2100 intentions" album.  hihi

or... when GNR really is broken up and the members are beginning to die, some guys are finding shit loads of tracks... like the beatles.... dont they still release unheard tracks? who knows? in 30years GNR will be what beatles are today

I don't think its worthy of a remake, the Anti-drink driving lyrics are pretty lame.
