Matt and Sammy are buddies, there's nothing wrong with playing on a friend's album if asked. The song is called "Kama", named after and written for Sammy's daughter, Kama. It's a simple slow song,  I have the cd and remember hearing Sammy talking about it in an interview.

Slash played on the first track, Little White Lie, it's a great tune.  So is "Who has the Right ? ",  if you wanna check it out.
