GNR at Grammy tonight?

I thought that making a statement, interview or ANYTHING would of been smart. It isn't Axl's style and to be honest the Grammys are a joke... but the exposure to unfamilar fans would of been great.

The casual fans of rock and older people know about Gn'R. The young fan doesn't, this would of helped things.

Maybe under normal circumstances but with the passing of so many major artists over the past few months, I don't think this would have been an appropriate setting for that.

Kudos to the Grammys for handling the tributes so well without taking anything away from the artists who were celebrating winning/being nominated.

I don't get why they can't just do a award presentation together and shock everyone or just a small interview?

Would be crazy publicity and it would steal thunder like crazy from people.

Exactly...Axl hates the media I think. In the last 15 years how many interviews or media appearances Axl actually did? Around 3 i think...

considering he said he'd never reunite....at this stage we can toss all arguments to the bin.

Yeah. Axl has clearly stated time and time again he'd never work with Slash, so this is great. I'm just glad I might have the chance to see them together.
