I know slash and duff do not mind doing interviews. Hope that part of the deal is not that they are muzzled. I know when duff played with guns last year his media presence almost stopped
The two of them are good at it too. Makes Axl's life 100 times easier.

Exactly right.
Always felt that was one of the biggest things working against the new band. No one to do the press that Axl loathes doing.

Is someone non-American actually watching this boring shit
I've heard of the guy, never watched since THAT interview and why would I? Closing the stream now and going on to other things. Hard to see how even Axl could've saved this.

I didn't see it either unless it ran before the show. I think he may be using a photo from the 2012 show intro.

No mention of Axl when mentioning the guests that will be on tonight. Looks like Jon Favreau is his replacement.

IMO, Axl enjoyed doing those in-depth interviews with Kurt Loder back in 1990. He didn't look like he was uncomfortable doing it.
edit: Axl will not be a guest tonight.

Some of us, perhaps idiotically, are still watching it in the hopes that it was all a prank and Axl will majestically appear

Yeah, and that guy was honestly Jon who? I thought he was some NFL quarterback from the past but obviously that wasn't the case.

Well, it`s over. That was a grueling watch. What's up with you American and commercials? Jesus, the intervals are bigger than the show itself.

Yeah, thus why a lot of folks make judicious use of their DVRs. For an hour show, you get about 44 min of content, and 16 min of commercials. It can waffle a bit, depending, but that's the general ratio.
I watch very, very little "live" anymore. Can't deal with all the ads.
