I dig those multi-colored Use Your Illusion covers, but I imagine that any album that Axl would endeavor at this point would be closer to Chinese Democracy.

All this criticism regarding people being too sensitive yet so many people being offended by "Happy Holidays"...To me Happy Holidays incorporates Holidays of all faiths and includes Hppy New Years...

Exactly- I always looked at Happy Holidays as a good, catch-all greeting to use with everyone- It's very P.C. and suitable even for people that celebrate Festivus  ok

In a purely speculative thread - allow me to speculate. If a reunion of sorts really happen, I reckon the most likely scenario would be the release of a "Best of..." 2CD/3LP box set with all the classics (including "Rocket Queen", "Pretty Tied Up" & "Used To Love Her" - we don't need another Greatest Hits failure) + a couple of tracks from Chinese Dem., and possibly either a cover song or a brand new tune featuring Slash & Duff. The Stones have followed this formula a couple of times before embarking on a world tour and it worked pretty well for them.

It works for them, but as a fan Im not entirely happy that the last full-length album was more than ten years ago.

I agree, I think GNR's next release will a 2 disc best of collection with 1-2 new tracks (with Slash and Duff). I'll take whatever I can get from this band but I would like to hear the second half of chinese democracy.

Yes - I'm selfish - but have to say that if we don't see a new album of music created by Axl - Slash - Duff at some point after this tour, I'd be a little bumbed
