I like This I Love and think the lyrics are great. It takes balls to be brutally honest like that....a serious set of them. From Madagascar to This I Love to Prostitute...just a fabulous way to end the album.

It's not that I really dislike This I Love, but for my taste, I think it could have been a better song - sound wise. For instance, I have no problems with the lyrics but I like the vocals in the remix much better (although there's only a snippet). If they had used that sort of vocals plus a little more guitars it would, in my mind, have been a perfect song.

You can't please everybody though, and I'm ok with that.

I always wondered if Slash, Matt, and Duff ever had put some instruments to it back in the 94-95-96 era....would be neat if there was a rough demo sitting in the vault.
