Sorry to disappoint you... Wink But it'll mostly be about the Dj Ashba Gibson Les Paul guitar.

Those guys have always done a great job with their podcast.  They are musicians and true fans of hard rock and heavy metal who love the music and talking about it.

I remember when they interviewed Chris Pittman before Chinese Democracy came out.  They actually used one of the questions I came up with about how "Madagascar" came about and Pittman said he was at Axl's house and the two of them were fiddling around in his home studio when Chris set the synthesizer to come up with a french horn sound that Axl stuck with and played that introductory chord progression.

That was great to hear a story like that.

I look forward to hearing this interview.

That would buy them a ton of goodwill.

I see it along the lines of the leaks in 2006.  Many, myself included, had just about given up.  After the leaks, there was a sense of "holy shit, this might actually come out after all" type of thing.

A new song or two on this tour could have that same effect, I think.

Even now, new songs would make music news headlines, and would absolutely rev the machine of "New album soon?" speculation by the media, which would only be a good thing.

If I remember correctly, and I may be wrong, DJ also dropped hints that new songs may be played when Guns did their residency in Vegas during October-November 2012, and that turned out not to be true. So hopefully the case will be different this time.
