Ex-members of Guns N'Roses participate in band CD BrazilGuitarist Tracii Guns and drummer Matt Sorum , both former members of Guns N 'Roses , made a special pass by Brazil last week. The two international rock artists participated in the process of recording their first CD paulistana Kiara Rocks . In an exclusive interview, Tracii Guns, Matt Sorum and Cadu Pelegrini (vocals, guitar Kiara Rocks) talked a bit about this partnership.
Tracii Guns Cadu met three years ago when he was in St. Paul with his band LA Guns. The two eventually became friends and have talked informally about the possibility of doing something together. But this year was the opportunity presented itself, with the first CD recording of Kiara Rocks. Tracii and then Matt came to produce and play on some tracks on the disc, and record a video clip with the Brazilian band.
About the partnership, Tracii says: "The first time Matt and I actually heard what the guys were doing was the right band (Kiara) with the right guys (Matt and Tracii). The music made sense and was better than we all expected. "
As for the work done here, the Americans were very confident in the outcome, saying the Kiara Rocks has something special and really cares about what you're doing. Tracii explains what caught his attention: "They're good people, there is a more family atmosphere, chemistry and love involving these people."
According to the singer of Kiara, Cadu Pelegrini, the band emerged from a dissatisfaction with the Brazilian rock scene and the lack of national options for those who like rock n 'roll. But far from angry or convey an image of disregarding the national productions, the Rocks Kiara proves to be more focused on doing what he believes. Cadu says he does not feel uncomfortable with the bands today: "This colorful kids' cause they're around, they do not bother me." And concludes: "instead of being complaining, I decided to assemble a band to do my part."
It is now expected to give the band's intentions as reflected in the results of their work, and the surprises that the partnership with Matt Sorum and Tracii Guns can book us. The band's CD will be released in the second half of 2011.
