Jimmy's a cool guy.. has been very nice and open to the Izzy community in the past
The thing is (and I'm sure Jimmy knows this) the money ain't a problem for Izzy.. it's one word: Freedom. He likes to go whereever he wants to go, at whatever time. This has been said by many people around him the last several years, including Axl.
Izzy would probably enjoy touring alot, but there's business hassles involved, contracts and commitment which outweighs the buzz from touring. That's the way it is.. he could've toured when he wanted. He's been living and travelling without having to 'work' since 1991.. he can pretty much do whatever he wants. I think that kind of life is in his system, constantly moving around and travelling. When the new Guns N' Roses, VR and AA were gigging/touring from 2003 to 2007 remember Izzy guesting at these gigs? That's the perfect way for him, no commitments, if he's in the area travelling around hell why not do a few songs with them. And when the show's over, he'll continue travelling again.
It's fine with me, aslong as I get to hear a new album each year
