Axl Rains SupremeJune 16th, 2011
GUNS N' Roses has blown away its competition and been crowned people's champion of the power ballad.
Geelong Advertiser readers voted the veteran rockers number one with their track November Rain.
They were followed by Never Tear Us Apart by INXS and Meatloaf's I'll Do Anything For Love.
The Addy's original top 50 list from last week did not satisfy everyone and according to readers several other power ballads should have made the cut.
Those included Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, Lonestar's Amazing, Steel Panther's Community Property and Skid Rows' I Remember You.
While exactly what defines a power ballad is a matter of conjecture, the Geelong Advertiser assessed their eligibility by their ability to induce a downward fist pump.
