...Gone To Hell

« on: October 30, 2010, 07:52:31 AM »

Hi guys,

I'm looking for something signed by the current line-up. Any ideas?

Best I could find were these two on ebay, which, when combined, would have the whole line-up EXCEPT axl.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120636919188&rvr_id=160365966773&mfe=sidebar

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290487029512&rvr_id=160381136369&mfe=sidebar

Anyone know where I could get something signed by Axl as well as the current lineup?

What do you think of these items?

Thanks guys.

After the belgium show the special edition chinese democracy boxset was signed by the whole band, inc axl. But... Obviously your too late for that.

Although, those signatures do look legit.

You can't be 100% sure if the signatures are real until you see them in person.

But eBay is safe these days, so if you see the signatures are fake you can get a refund easily.  ok

And it's amazing to see people selling stuff like that.

I got mine ticket signed by DJ & 4tus at the Zagreb gig, and my shirt signed by BBF but I'd never even consider selling those.

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated.

I've been to a few GN'R shows this year, but wouldn't of had a clue where to wait or go to get something signed.

Were the Zagreb/Belgium signings pre-arranged?

I know what you mean about not being 100% sure, but the guy selling the box set seems very knowledgeable and has sent me photos of his meet & greet. That said, theres no Ashba signature, which puts me off a little.

And yeah, who the heck would sell something signed personally to them by GN'R? Crazy!!

I have a GNRLA tshirt signed by Ron, Frank and Chris. I wouldn't sell it for the world. I don't get people selling this kind of things, maybe they are opportunist and not fans

I got my stuff signed at the aftershow.

I don't know what to tell you, it's a risk you have to take when you buy stuff like that but like I said ebay can easily refund your money if you see it's a scam so if I were you I'd buy it.

But then again for me it's not the same when your stuff gets signed in front of you and when you buy it on ebay.

Oh yeah definetly agree with you on that. It's more of a collectors thing, but where you have it personally signed, its a constant reminder of that moment in time.

I'm just in a hoarding mood at the minute, collecting everything I can find on the current line-up.

I was aiming to make some kind of GN'R montage for the living room wall and thought some signed stuff would look nice in there.

Thanks again for the input guys.

If youre lookin at getting the boxset. I made that '1 offer'. And you can make him an offer for $120 (instead of 199). Ive gone of the idea and waiting till something else comes up. I just dont like the idea of him selling loads of autographs that he just happened to obtain himself this summer. Hmm.

As for the chindem, I just think thats over priced. I have a signed Chindem, and dont think the 2 other sigs are worth the money.

Nothing beats my UYI  signed CD by ALL members though Wink

Yeah I'm half with you on that one I think. How much did you offer if you dont mind me asking?

I'd be a lot more interested if it had Axl, Tommy and DJ or even one of those. Price is too high imo.

I have Chinese Democracy, Abnormal and a photo signed by Ron. I'm lucky as the Chinese Democracy booklet, I got signed at the meet N' greets he did in London 2008.

But, I too would never buy anything like that off of ebay, or any other sites, unless I was certain in regards to authenticity.

I remember a while back, I used to go onto ebay for a laugh just to see all the fake signatures. Some people don't even bother researching past singatures before attempting to fake one. It really is a horrible act, and I hope alot of people have got procecuted for trying this kind of stuff.  rant
