How to open the file after downloading? I have a Mac. It says the file is in data format that cannot be opened.

i accidentally erased its extension.

Solutions:

- Just drag and drop the file to VLC player (or the software you use to play flv/mov/mp4 files) and it will play
- Right click the file > open with > choose your player
- Add the file an extension: rename it putting a .mov .flv or .mp4 extension at the end of it and then double click it.
