nope, it plays on normal cd players and stereos, and also in your computer

to be fair though it sounds pretty much like the regular Cd unless you have a super stereo and super tuned ears

i do have a great pioneer stereo, but i tried it on my portable stereo, which isnt anything special and on some songs like shacklers, scraped and riad, u can really notice the difference. it sounds more stereo and the drums are also stronger

yeap! be careful with scams though. theres a lot of chinese scams there. look for a store called "the music specialist"
