I posted it seperately cause not all people read all the threads, and since the gigs are in a few days, everybody needs to read this.

I hope all the people who bought tickets will not have any problems going to the shows.

It happened to me once with the Madrid show, back in 2006, so I can relate... but I rescheduled my plane tickets cause I didn't want to miss the premierek of the tour...

Plus Del just asked everybody (in the band) on fb to post it everywhere so that people would be informed in time for the shows...

argentine fans are living a true nightmare changing their old tickets for the new ones. I know people from cordoba, traveling like 800 km just to change the ticket, returning, and planning to travel again the day of the show. Very long lines for changing the tickets, only 3 windows opened for that. Really a via crucis.

Thank God i bought at field ticket so i do not have to do anything.

To all of you foreigners planning to come to argentina, the Velez Sarsfield Stadium is just 18 km away from River. You just should get a taxi. Liniers, the neighbourhood where Velez Sarsfield is, is a safe place, not as much as Nu?ez (probably the safest place in Buenos Aires), where River is.

There's some regulation in Buenos Aires City that forbid concert after midnight on "working days".

I hope Guns N' Roses knows that  hihi

Well, in that case, Axl could pay some type of fine... For Axl, it's not so much. He doesn't come to Argentina every year. It's just one day  Grin

Just curious but why do bands only play one city in Argentina?  Are there other major cities?

Because in Argentina, everything is concentrated in Buenos Aires (Capital Federal) such as universities, employment. It's like the ?big city? of Argentina. There are other provinces which have very good places to play but governors and/or local promoters don't pay attention to those provinces. It's a bit unfair.

Metallica was the only international band who played in both Buenos Aires and Mendoza (another province of Argentina), but this isn't common.
