Eddie Trunk on the EXAMINER.COM

Examiner.com: When a band comes through town, your show is a necessary stop. Of all the rock stars over the years, who has been your favorite to talk to?

EDDIE TRUNK: Radio I assume? Wow, so many. The thing I get asked about the most by far is the night Axl Rose walked in a few years ago. Totally out of left field and he sat in studio for three hours. Just surreal and I still get asked about it.

Examiner.com: Guns N' Roses just played 2 'secret' shows at Fashion Week, and did a run in Canada, and just announced South American tour dates, but they haven't played New York since 2006. Can you make an educated guess if we're going to see Axl & Friends again any time soon?

EDDIE TRUNK: I think so. Axl marches to his own beat as we all know. He seems to be having fun now and he's a smart guy. All the press from the surprise gigs only helps fuel the hype for a US tour. But you never ever can think you have him figured out and logic often does not apply. The guy was so cool when we hung out on my radio show, but I don't claim to know anything more than the average fan when it comes to him and his band.

The "Examiner" have constantly used this nonsense term "Axl & Friends" when writing an article about Guns N' Roses, it is a deliberate attempt to annoy the band, especially Axl, and the fans too.

Yes I have noticed that sevral times over the years and the people who tend to do that just want to get attention and I think are just fucking stupid.
