NEW YORK, NY January 21, 2010 This Sunday, January 24 from 8-10AM ET/PT A&E and BIO Channel will present "Private Sessions: Songs for Haiti" to raise awareness for relief efforts in Haiti. In conjunction with the American Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and Save The Children, host Lynn Hoffman will revisit the series' best performances highlighted by new messages from guests Barry Manilow, Black Thought and Quest Love from The Roots, Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Annie Lenox, Blues Traveler, Colbie Caillat, Stephan Jenkins (Third Eye Blind), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics),
Matt Sorum (Guns 'N' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Ryan Tedder (One Republic) and more. The special will air simultaneously on both A&E Network and BIO Channel.
In addition to performances and exclusive guest commentary, host Lynn Hoffman will interview a spokesperson from each charitable organization working with A&E Television Networks for information on the state of earthquake-stricken Haiti, the needs of the thousands of injured, missing, hungry and homeless Haitians and what viewers can do to help.
