That they were influenced by Neil Young?  I saw him at the IW Festival last night and saw a master class.  drool   I know he's a respected musician and often AFD has been cited as a driving force for others to aspire to, was wondering if any of the Gunners were driven in part by Youngs music, and are there any quotes.

I'd imagine, Slash, Bucket, Bubblefoot and Fink will have good words to say, most rock stars do, but have they openly said so?  peace

I have never heard any of them say it but I too am a big Neil Young fan.

I don't remember them saying Neil is an influence.

But I think Dizzy played "Like A Hurricane" as his solo at many of the 2006 Canadian shows.

How can you be into music and not influenced by Neil or any of the other great artisits?  If you weren't directly influenced, your teacher probably was or the people you play with are.  Way back in 2000 Axl went to see him on his South American vacation.  At least we think he did.
