For all my life. Ive had this sensation at the back of my neck, n slightly going up to my head.

Where its like a pulsating tingle and i feel chilled out. I only get this in specific moments. Most often if im being spoken to by a Dr/Nurse and they are going through a list of whatever.

This is totally random n like wtf. But im feeling it atm, n i just thought, hey this feelings always cool but i know jack about it ...lets ask the HTGTH peeps.

I've felt that too, except mine goes all the way up my spine to my head.  I usually end up doing a little shudder at the end.  I'm not sure if it does it at any specific time or during a specific situation for me personally.  It's probably a nerve reaction, but I'm not sure to what!

I sometimes get an odd, tingly kinda feeling, but it's more in my shoulder. It goes a bit numb but then the feeling goes away.

i would guess it is either adrenaline related

or it might be a slightly pinched nerve restricting blood flow.

the "tingly" feeling would be when it opens up and blood starts flowing again.

I might recognize what you're talking about, is it soothing and comfortable?

ok, i'm gonna' ask......is this a feeling that lasts a few seconds?   Like a little chill?

Or is it a feeling that lasts longer than that?

I'm trying to understand this and what you're talking about, really.

It's most likely a vasovagal response.  I've had similar episodes where suddenly it sounds like somebody turned down the volume, I feel like I'm floating and then the tunnel vision comes.  That's when I hit the floor and lose consciousness for a few seconds (minutes?).  There are definitely certain things that trigger the response in me but it has happened without warning.  I've been told that I get tense, blood vessels constrict and blood pressure bottoms out.

You say this usually happens to you when you are talking to a doctor or nurse.  We call that white coat syndrome.  Tongue
