Now, this sounds like it could be awful.

Members of Rush, Tool, Primus and The Police have teamed up for a jam session under the name CCCP (a moniker taken from the first letter of each of the members? last names).

The group features Danny Carey of Tool, Primus? Les Claypool, The Police?s Stewart Copeland, and Neil Peart from Rush.

Why do I think this is going to suck? I love Les and Danny, and hey ? I?m even a fan of the Police and Rush. But all together?

I don?t know man ? this sounds like it?s going to be hugely disappointing.

Footage of the guys platying a song by the name of ?Count Drumula!? together can be found over at Peart?s official website, Neilpeart.net.

Yea I'm a big Claypool fan.  I've liked some of his other groups like Frog Brigade, Oysterhead(with Copeland), and Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains.   Considering the talent, I think it could be cool.   Should probably be better than something like "Chickenfoot".

I think the guys from Tool are with too much free time. They should be focusing on their new album, trying to improve over the last one.

I think, when you consider the people involved, that these guys are just messing w/ the media's fascination w/ "supergroups".  3 drummers and a bassist record a song w/ lyrics "1,2,3,4".  Think about that for a second.
